Sir Edward Hales
Sir Edward Hales was Colonel in 1639 and supported the Parliamentarians. His grandson and heir Sir Edward Hales, 2nd Baronet joined the Royalist uprising in Kent in 1648, raising Sir Edward Hales’ Regiment of Horse.
