Flags
Symonds recorded the regiment as having “blew colours”2). One known cornet design from the regiment is that of Captain Sir Richard Astley: it is carved upon his tomb, Sir Richard is depicted at the head of a troop of horse with a trumpeter whose trumpet banner also bears a cinquefoil. This was interpreted by Brigadier Young as being a white cinquefoil on a blue field.

An impressive memorial to Sir Richard is located in St Mary's Church, Patshull.
