- June: Trooper Bearde sequestrated
Notes
Very little is known of this unit. On the 8th June 1646 occurred the sequestration of Thomas Bearde of Wilburton, Isle of Ely. He rode as a Trooper under Captain Parsley in Colonel Thomas Panton's Regiment. As '1642' writes, further research required regarding this Regiment1)

Thomas Panton
Panton hailed from Buckinghamshire and originally served in the Earl of Caernarvon’s Regiment of Horse. In August 1659 he planned a rising in London but was deterred by the large number of Parliamentarian troops After the Restoration he served as a lieutenant in the King's horse guards and foot guards. He was a surprisingly successful gambler. Panton died in 1685 and is buried in Westminster Abbey
