Notes
The unit's origins lie in two troops of Dragoon raised for Major General Jephson whilst he was raising his horse regiment in England in 1646, but the unit always seems to have been under the command of Col. Buller.
Flags & Equipment
Having arived in Ireland in August 1646 the unit was described as needing “clothes, arms, saddles and bridles”.3) The lack of horse gear does not seem to have been made up until at least the following April.4)
