Colonel Thomas Birch’s Regiment of Foot

Thomas Birch governed Liverpool after its recapture from the Royalists in 1644 to 1655.

The two officers bellow signed a certificate for Thomas Still who lost an arm and suffered 28 “grievous wounds at Gotheridge Castle” ¹⁾
