Two cornet from Arnott's regiment were probably captured at Inverkeithing. Lt Col Govan's was red with a red and white fringe, small yellow star and large sword and a partial inscription S… QV… PA…. Major Johnston's cornet was red with a red and white fringe and a gold arm and sword. 1)
