Coats, Flags & Equipment
Flags of the regiment have been identified among those captured at Dunbar. Kerr's Colonel's colour was white with a blue panel with white saltire above a thistle and wreath proper. The scroll read COVENANTS FOR RELIGION KING AND KINGDOMES PRO CHRISTO PRO PATRIA DULCE (illustration 1), while the other companies carried blue flags with white saltires with small central distinctions and numbers in red; thistle proper; martlet; label; star; ring; cinquefoil; fleur de lis.2)
