- Holborn supports the Kirk party and is ousted in favour of Turner, an Engager, despite a mutiny by the regiment

- August: Winwick Pass
- August: Surrender to the New Model Army at Winwick and Warrington

- Re-raised in Stirling and the Colonelcy returned to Holborn
- 3rd September: Battle of Dunbar ~430 men
