  • Raised out of remnants of Covenanter regiments then in Scotland

  • Holborn supports the Kirk party and is ousted in favour of Turner, an Engager, despite a mutiny by the regiment
  • July: Preston campaign
  • August: Winwick Pass
  • August: Surrender to the New Model Army at Winwick and Warrington

1650

  • Re-raised in Stirling and the Colonelcy returned to Holborn
  • 3rd September: Battle of Dunbar ~430 men
  • Garrison of Stirling

1651

  • 20th July: Battle of Inverkeithing? ~646 men
  • September: Battle of Worcester
