Notes

Raised by Vavasour for service in Ireland, they returned to England in 1643 by which time Vavasour had raised another regiment on the Welsh Border. Mynne’s foot were assigned to Vavasour’s force opposing Massey at Gloucester. It’s possible that both regiments were combined into one. The regiment appear to have been destroyed at Redmarley by Massey, though perhaps the survivors continued to serve under Vavasour.

Coats, Flags & Equipment

The regiment were issued suits of clothes at Bristol, supplied by Thomas Bushell1).
