Notable Officers
John Warner
John Warner, a grocer, was Colonel of the Green Regiment between 1642 and 1645. In 1647 he was Lord Mayor of London. He died in 1648.

Owen Roe was Colonel in 1646
Matthew Shepheard
Colonel in 1647 under the Presbyterians
John Robinson
A clothworker and alderman, he commanded the regiment from 1658 to 1680.
