olonel Degory Collins died in 1672 and is buried in Westminster Abbey. He served from the Isle de Rhe expedition of 1627 and was a professional soldier.
Colonel Collins,Lt.Col Phillips and Sgt. Maj. Harsall with 200 men were sent to reinforce Sir Arthur Bassett at St. Michaels Mount in mid 1646.
