Parliamentarian foot raised by Sir Thomas Middleton and intended to be sent by sea to join his campaign in Wales. Part at least of the Regiment were forced to put into Milford Haven and fought for a period under Laugharne. By April 1645 Beale had been made a parliamentary Commissioner to Ulster. The Regiment possibly by now combined with the rest of Middleton's foot were taken over by it's former Lt Col. John Carter.
