• O'Farrell surrenders, later leading an Irish regiment in French service.

Farrell's regiment were credited with routing Lord Blayney’s Regiment of Foot at Benburb, defeating Monro's left wing.

In March 1643 Farrell returned from foreign service bringing arms for a regiment.

O'Farrell, or simply Farrell, previously served in O'Neill's regiment on the continent, but returned later to Ireland.
