Royalist regiment of horse commanded by Henry Hastings, Lord Loughborough, based at Ashby de la Zouch
One flag known from the regiment is that of Captain Sir Richard Astley. It is carved upon his tomb at Patshull, and was interpreted by Brigadier Young as being a white cinquefoil on a blue field, in line with Astley's arms.
Commemorated in Patshull Church, his memorial features carvings depicting his troop of horse.
