It’s not clear that this regiment actually participated in the poorly-documented Braddock Down campaign, but it does appear likely as Calmadey was captured there. The regiment might have been commanded by Robert Savery.
Sir Shilston Calmady was killed in action at the siege of Ford Abbey in Devon, in February 1645 or 1646.
