Parliamentarian regiment of foot of the Eastern Association, serving both at the Battle of Newark and at Marston Moor
Captured Wisbech and formed the town's garrison. At the Battle of Newark, Meldrum blamed the regiment's mutiny for his defeat.
Referred to as the 'Norfolk redcoats' at Newark in 1644.
